Japanese Regulatory Status: Check the Exact Route

Japan’s amended regenerative medicine law took effect on May 31, 2025.^[6]

A regenerative medicine provision plan is not the same thing as PMDA marketing authorization for a named regenerative medical product.^[7][8]

Regulatory status alone does not show that a treatment will work for a particular disease.
