General Information Only

Educational content is not medical advice

Nothing on this website should be used as a substitute for consultation, examination, diagnosis, treatment, monitoring, or follow-up by an appropriately qualified healthcare professional.

Medical information may be useful when preparing questions or understanding terminology, but it should not be treated as an individualized recommendation for a particular patient.

No Doctor-Patient Relationship

Contact does not create a clinical relationship

Website use

Reading pages, guides, or policy information does not create a doctor-patient relationship.

Coordination contact

Contacting Japan Medical through WhatsApp, LINE, or another coordination channel does not by itself create a doctor-patient relationship.

Record submission

Submitting medical records for administrative coordination does not mean Japan Medical has clinically assessed or accepted the patient.

Provider relationship

A separate clinical relationship may arise between a patient and an independent medical provider according to that provider’s procedures and applicable law.

Do Not Change Treatment Based on This Website

Important treatment decisions require qualified medical advice

Do not stop care

Do not stop, delay, or materially change necessary medical care based only on information published on this website.

Do not self-prescribe

Do not start or change medication, cancer treatment, surgery, rehabilitation, diabetes care, cardiovascular care, fertility treatment, or another intervention solely because of website content.

Seek individual assessment

A qualified healthcare professional who understands the patient’s history, examination findings, and current condition should assess important medical decisions.

Regenerative Medicine and Cell Therapy

Availability is not the same as PMDA approval

Regenerative medicine and cell-based treatment information requires careful interpretation. A treatment being available in Japan, appearing in a registry, or being provided under a particular legal or regulatory framework should not automatically be interpreted as meaning that a regenerative medical product has received PMDA marketing approval.

Japan’s jRCT publishes information connected with the Clinical Trials Act and the Act on the Safety of Regenerative Medicine. PMDA separately publishes information about approved regenerative medical products.

Research Evidence Has Different Strengths

A study result is not an individual prediction

01

Laboratory and animal research

Preclinical findings can support scientific investigation but do not by themselves demonstrate a clinical benefit in humans.

02

Case reports and small studies

These may describe important observations but can have major limitations and may not show what would happen in a broader patient population.

03

Controlled clinical studies

Comparison groups, randomization, endpoints, sample size, follow-up, and study quality affect how strongly a result can be interpreted.

04

Systematic evidence and guidance

Systematic reviews, clinical guidelines, and regulatory assessments may provide broader context but still require application to the individual patient.

05

Individual outcomes

Age, diagnosis, disease stage, prior treatment, general health, treatment protocol, and other factors can materially affect outcomes.

No Guaranteed Outcomes

Medical care always involves uncertainty

Detection We do not guarantee that a screening test, scan, or examination will detect every disease or abnormality.
Improvement or cure We do not guarantee symptom improvement, cure, tissue regeneration, restored fertility, improved sexual function, anti-aging effects, or another therapeutic result.
Survival or prevention We do not guarantee extended survival, prevention of disease, or prevention of complications.
Safety We do not guarantee that a treatment will be free from adverse events, side effects, complications, or other risks.
Provider information Physicians, prices, treatment availability, schedules, protocols, and regulatory information may change and should be confirmed before a medical or financial decision.

Emergency Situations

Japan Medical is not an emergency service

If you have severe breathing difficulty, chest pain, loss of consciousness, signs of stroke, severe bleeding, a severe allergic reaction, or another potentially life-threatening condition, seek emergency medical assistance immediately.

Do not wait for a response from Japan Medical through WhatsApp, LINE, or the website.
